The IEX-402 is an entry-level managed industrial Ethernet extender equipped with 1 10/100BaseT(X) port and 1 DSL port.
Supporting G.SHDSL or VDSL2 standards, this Ethernet extender provides point-to-point extension over twisted pair cables.
This device has a G.SHDSL connection data rate of up to 15.3 Mbps and a transmission distance of up to 8 km;
a VDSL2 connection data rate of up to 100 Mbps and a transmission distance of up to 3 km.
The IEX-402 series is designed for harsh environments. DIN rail mounting,
wide temperature operation (-40 to 75°C) and dual power inputs make it ideal for installation into industrial applications.
To simplify configuration, the IEX-402 is equipped with CO/CPE auto-negotiation.
By factory default, it automatically assigns one of each pair of IEX devices to CPE status.
Additionally, Link Failure Notification (LFP) capabilities and network redundancy interoperability enhance the reliability and accessibility of communications networks.
